Our basic concept is focused on offering a selection of seasonal variety from local sources while maintaining high standards of quality and flavor. We are excited to introduce a new perspective on food to the community and encourage healthy, seasonal dinning without sacrificing taste or inflating prices.
The menu incorporates an array of distinctive items that follow the patterns of the seasons. Our Sunday breakfast selection includes flavorful egg sandwiches (vegetarian options available), fresh-cut fruit, made to order omelets, home-made buttermilk french toast, organic cage-free eggs cooked the way you like them, and classic breakfast sides like herb-roasted home fried potatoes, hardwood smoked bacon, and buttered toast.
Lunch consists of a more elaborate arrangement of sandwiches, salads and soups featuring hand-carved meats, fresh-cut veggies, and unique flavor combinations.
Our sandwich selection includes choices like our famous oven-roasted turkey and cranberry chutney sandwich topped with triple-cream brie and baby spinach, our home-made chicken salad sandwich served with home-made walnut pesto spread, crunchy apple slices, baby spinach, and hardwood smoked bacon, and a veriety of toasty oven melts like our in-house roasted ham with Maytag bleu cheese, and the Roasted Turkey & Swiss Melt. Salad selections include the Marinated Portabella Mushroom Salad with goat cheese, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions and home-made balsamic vinaigrette, and the ever popular refreshing Wedge salad featuring smoked bacon, shaved parmesan, sliced cucumber, garden tomatoes, shaved red onion, fresh ground pepper, and home-made organic yogurt bleu cheese dressing served on an iceburg wedge. Soups differ from day to day ranging from the classics like chicken noodle, and beef stew to specialty soups like corn salsa tortilla (an H.S.K. signature), garbanzo bean & corn stew, and turkey chili with at least one vegan option available daily.
